Melissa Suzanne George, an Australia-born actress and businessperson who is also a designer and inventor. She began her career in Australia and eventually moved to Hollywood and enjoyed great successes. George George was born in Perth was first interested in skating and dance. At the age of a teenager, George began modeling and was named Western Australia's top model for teens of the year award in 1992. The following year, she starred on the screen in an episode of the soap opera on Seven Network called Home and Away. She had her big-screen debut in the thriller mystery Dark City and essayed various role roles as a supporting actor in shows like Alias The Limey and Down with Love prior to appearing for the first time as a female lead on a mainstream Hollywood project in the remake in 2005 of The Amityville Horror.
